Ingredients (for 6ppl):

Main Ingredients:

  • 100g sourdough starter
  • 250ml of water
  • 250g of white flour
  • 250g of 00 flour
  • 125g of lard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 150g of salami
  • 150g of scamorza cheese
  • A handful of grated parmesan

Utensils:

  • Savarin Cake Tin
  • Bowl
  • Bread maker attachment for electric mixer (optional)

Instructions

Needs to be started the day before

Prepare (5min):

  1. Add sourdough starter, room temperature water, flour, lard and salt into the electric mixer
  2. Scoop it out and put it into a bowl
  3. Mould it into a ball shape, cover and leave overnight

Cooking (1h 15m):

  1. Turn oven to 160°
  2. Butter the inside of the savarin tin
  3. Tip the ball onto a floured surface and flatten it out into a rectangle 1/2cm thick
  4. Cover with cut up salami and scamorza and sprinkled parmesan
  5. Roll the long edge and place into the savarin tin
  6. Put in the oven (1h)
