Chinese Soup
Ingredients (for 2ppl):
Main Ingredients:
- 1.2l water
- 2.5 tbsl won ton soup mix
- Prawns/chicken
- splash of soya sauce
- splash of sesame oil
- 3 spring onions
- 1 carrot
- 1/2 a broccoli florret
- some baby sweetcorn
- a couple cabbage leaves
- a handful of mushrooms
- 1/2 can of bamboo shoots, beansprouts and water chestnuts
- Egg noodles/Udon noodles
Utensils:
- 2 x Saucepan
Instructions
Prepare (15min):
- Chop all vegetables
- Boil kettle with 1.5l of water in
Cooking (12min):
- Heat up saucepan and put in some sesame oil
- Cook prawns/chicken until nearly done, remove and put in a bowl (2-5mins)
- Add spring onions to pan and stir (30sec)
- Add remaining vegetables to pan and stir (2 mins)
- Add 1.2l of boiling water and stir (2min)
- When boiling again, add the won ton soup mix and stir (2mins)
- Add prawns/chicken and noodles and stir (2mins)
- Serve
