Chinese Soup

Ingredients (for 2ppl):

Main Ingredients:

  • 1.2l water
  • 2.5 tbsl won ton soup mix
  • Prawns/chicken
  • splash of soya sauce
  • splash of sesame oil
  • 3 spring onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 a broccoli florret
  • some baby sweetcorn
  • a couple cabbage leaves
  • a handful of mushrooms
  • 1/2 can of bamboo shoots, beansprouts and water chestnuts
  • Egg noodles/Udon noodles

Utensils:

  • 2 x Saucepan

Instructions

Prepare (15min):

  1. Chop all vegetables
  2. Boil kettle with 1.5l of water in

Cooking (12min):

  1. Heat up saucepan and put in some sesame oil
  2. Cook prawns/chicken until nearly done, remove and put in a bowl (2-5mins)
  3. Add spring onions to pan and stir (30sec)
  4. Add remaining vegetables to pan and stir (2 mins)
  5. Add 1.2l of boiling water and stir (2min)
  6. When boiling again, add the won ton soup mix and stir (2mins)
  7. Add prawns/chicken and noodles and stir (2mins)
  8. Serve
