Coffee & Chocolate Cake
Ingredients (for 4ppl):
Main Ingredients:
- 350ml decaf coffee (watered down, shots TBC)
- 400g 00 flour
- 100g vegetable oil
- 250g sugar
- 16g baking powder
- 150g cooking 70% chocolate
Utensils:
- Baking tin 25.5x11.5cm, 7cm tall
- Large bowl
Instructions
Prepare (5min):
- Make the coffee (one shot of coffee per double water) and let cool down
- Roughly chop the chocolate
- Preheat oven to 180°
Cooking (60min):
- In a large bowl add the flour, baking powder and sugar
- Then add the oil and coffee and whisk together (hand whisk)
- Then add in the chopped chocolate and mix
- Butter the baking tin and sprinle flour over, add the batter and put in the oven (15 mins)
- Turn oven down to 150° (40 mins, or 30, check with knife)
- Keeps outside the fridge for 4 days
