Coffee & Chocolate Cake

Ingredients (for 4ppl):

Main Ingredients:

  • 350ml decaf coffee (watered down, shots TBC)
  • 400g 00 flour
  • 100g vegetable oil
  • 250g sugar
  • 16g baking powder
  • 150g cooking 70% chocolate

Utensils:

  • Baking tin 25.5x11.5cm, 7cm tall
  • Large bowl

Instructions

Prepare (5min):

  1. Make the coffee (one shot of coffee per double water) and let cool down
  2. Roughly chop the chocolate
  3. Preheat oven to 180°

Cooking (60min):

  1. In a large bowl add the flour, baking powder and sugar
  2. Then add the oil and coffee and whisk together (hand whisk)
  3. Then add in the chopped chocolate and mix
  4. Butter the baking tin and sprinle flour over, add the batter and put in the oven (15 mins)
  5. Turn oven down to 150° (40 mins, or 30, check with knife)
  6. Keeps outside the fridge for 4 days
