Mustard Chicken

Ingredients (for 2ppl):

Main Ingredients:

  • 2 x chicken breasts
  • 75ml of cream
  • 120ml white wine
  • 3 baby leaks or 1 large leak
  • 4 teaspoons of Colman's mustard poweder
  • 1 heaped teaspoon of wholegrain mustard
  • 4 cloves of garlic

Goes Well With:

  • Rice or Roasted Potatoes
  • Seasonal Vegetables

Utensils:

  • Large frying pan

Instructions

Prepare (3min):

  1. Finely chop rosemary, sprinkle into the pack of chicken, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of mustard powder on each breast, season, drizzle oil and rub into chicken

Cooking (15min):

  1. Heat up the frying pan, add the chicken breasts (6 mins each side)
  2. Cut the leeks lengthways, wash and slice finely, add to the other side of the pan with the chicken (when you turn the chicken)
  3. Crush 4 unpeeled cloves of garlic into the saucepan, stir the leeks and add a good swig of wine
  4. Take out the chicken breasts and cover
  5. Add 75ml of cream, 1 heaped teaspoon of wholegrain mustard into the remaining sauce and stir, season if necessery and serve
  6. Slice chicken breasts and put on a bed of the leek sauce
