Tiramisu
Ingredients (for 4ppl):
Main Ingredients:
- 150g savoiardi (lady fingers)
- 500g mascarpone cheese
- 80g sugar plus 1 tbsp sugar
- 4 eggs, separated
- 3 double espresso of coffee
- A little unsweetened coco
Utensils:
- 20cm dish (pref square)
- 2 bowls
- Electric whisk
Instructions
Must be made the day before
Prepare (2min):
- Get 2 bowls and electric whisk
- Seperate the yokes from the whites of the eggs in two bowls
Cooking (20mins):
- Make the coffee, add 1 tbsp sugar, stir and put in fridge
- In first bowl, mix yolks with 80g sugar with electric whisk until fluffy and soft
- Add mascarpone cheese and fold in
- In second bowl, mix white part of eggs with tiny pinch of salt with electric whisk until mousse
- Add second bowl to first bowl and fold in carefully to not remove air
- Dip each finger in coffee and make a single base layer in dish
- Cover with cream
- Repeat until ingredients used up, making sure the top layer is the white layer
- Put in the fridge (12h)
- Top with coco before serving
