Tiramisu

Ingredients (for 4ppl):

Main Ingredients:

  • 150g savoiardi (lady fingers)
  • 500g mascarpone cheese
  • 80g sugar plus 1 tbsp sugar
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 3 double espresso of coffee
  • A little unsweetened coco

Utensils:

  • 20cm dish (pref square)
  • 2 bowls
  • Electric whisk

Instructions

Must be made the day before

Prepare (2min):

  1. Get 2 bowls and electric whisk
  2. Seperate the yokes from the whites of the eggs in two bowls

Cooking (20mins):

  1. Make the coffee, add 1 tbsp sugar, stir and put in fridge
  2. In first bowl, mix yolks with 80g sugar with electric whisk until fluffy and soft
  3. Add mascarpone cheese and fold in
  4. In second bowl, mix white part of eggs with tiny pinch of salt with electric whisk until mousse
  5. Add second bowl to first bowl and fold in carefully to not remove air
  6. Dip each finger in coffee and make a single base layer in dish
  7. Cover with cream
  8. Repeat until ingredients used up, making sure the top layer is the white layer
  9. Put in the fridge (12h)
  10. Top with coco before serving
