Turkey Meatball Skillet
Ingredients (for 4ppl):
Main Ingredients:
- 500g Turkey mince
- 40g breadcrumbs
- 20g Matzah Meal
- 10g grated Parmesan
- 4 cloves of garlic minced, split into two
- 1 large egg
- 1 can of crushed tomatoes
- 250g Mozzarella
Goes Well With:
- Rice/Chips
- Seasonal Vegetables
Utensils:
- Skillet
Instructions
Prepare (15min):
- In a large bowl, beat the egg, add minced turkey, breadcrumbs, matzah meal, 2 minced cloves of garlic, parmesan and season with salt and pepper
- Mix all the ingredients and form into meatballs (approx 14)
- Dice up the Mozzarella
Cooking (30min):
- Turn oven to 200°
- Heat a skillet with 1 tbsp of oil (3 mins)
- Brown each side of the meatballs and then remove from heat (5 mins)
- Add 2 tbsp oil to the skillet, add remaining 2 crushed garlics and brown (30 secs)
- Add crushed tomatoes, some salt and pepper and bring to the boil (3 mins)
- Add the meatballs back to skillet and top with Mozzarella, put in the oven (15 mins)
